College selections for the 2009 - 2010 are underway for HS Seniors this fall as the annual college recruiting scene begins to heat up. College commitments for RAW 241 veterans will be posted here:

  • Drew Squires, class of 2009, Colonial Forge HS, Stafford, VA signed a commitment in November to D-2 power Newberry College in Newberry, SC. Newberry is a relatively new wrestling power, reaching the Top 10 in D-2 in only their third year of existence. Coach Jason Valek pronounced Drew as their top recruit for 2009. Drew is a 3X top 4 state place winner (1X State Champ) in VA (2nd, 1st, 4th) who is looking to return to the top of the podium in 2009 at 135 pounds.

  • Ian Squires, class of 2009, Colonial Forge HS, Stafford, VA verbally committed in December, 2008, to D-1's Boston University in Boston, MA, where he will wrestle for the legendary Carl Adams and All-American Sean Gray. Also commonly referred to as RAW 241, the wrestling club has been in existence for approximately seven years and has trained some of the finest wrestlers in the country. The proof is in the results. Many of our wrestlers have competed in and won or placed in ALL of the best National-caliber college, high school and youth events all around the country!

These warriors have many things in common; the biggest common factor is the RAW 241 Head Coach, Jonathan Johnson. Jonathan preaches his wide-open, full throttle offense from the neutral position that overwhelms most opponents. That offensive fire power is the hallmark of all RAW 241 wrestlers and carries over onto the mat as well.

Trained by 3X NCAA All-American Jonathan Johnson, RAW 241 wrestlers are succeeding all over the country from elementary school to middle school to high school to Division I wrestling. If you are interested in reaching your potential as a Championship wrestler, you have come to the right place! Join us in your journey to the top of amateur wrestling.
